I remember bringing up questions about water injection, the MSD BTM and the J&S to Shawn (Mr. Detail) a long time ago. This is what he said in his reply to my e-mail:
"I would use this [MSD BTM] device and not the J&S knock sensor. The reason I say this is the J&S doesn't do anything until you get detonation. The whole reason for the device is to not have detonation. Therefore since the MSD is proactive detonation never occurs which is a good thing."
When I asked him about water injection he said, "Water injection is such a pain in the
ass, but it does work. I would have to say you wouldn't be able to put it anywhere except before the charger if you are going to do it." I tried water injection on my Talon AWD before I got rid of it and it seemed to work alright. Then again, I was running 15 psi of boost on the stock, inefficient intercooler. I'm with rjaffy on thinking that the water injection wouldn't be of any benefit unless you had more than 8 psi of boost.

hey fellas,
I'll check to see if my distributor has a J& S account. If not I may be able to call them and see if they will get me wholesale. Jobber prices aren't that great.

Count me in.
How easy/difficult is it to install.
I don't trust myself to do it, that's for sure. I would probably have John Eagle Acura do the install for me as they did my JRSC almost a year ago. Those of you who already have it (J&S) - how much can I expect it to cost or how many hours of labor to install it?

They did a J&S Group buy another site (can't remember now). It wasn't discounted much because the units are hand-built. That's why nobody carries them and it costs so much.
